Operator Guide — GARA INDUSTRIAL ASSESS
A guide to the workflow that actually ships in the console: sign in, open a case, upload evidence, run AI vision analysis on a component photo, and issue a SHA-256 sealed technical report.
Workflow
1. Sign in
Customers sign in at /industrial-assess/login and the owner at /industrial-assess/owner-login. The console at /industrial-assess/console is gated — unauthenticated users are redirected to the login page.
2. Open an assessment case
In the console's New case form enter a case reference, customer, equipment class (pump / motor / gearbox / compressor / blower), model and quoted amount. The case is stored in the database and appears in the case table.
3. Open the case card
Clicking a table row opens the case at /industrial-assess/case/{id}, where evidence, AI analysis and the report live.
4. Upload evidence
On the case card upload a photo or document. The file is stored in a private bucket (industrial-assess-evidence) and listed on the case with its name and size.
5. Run AI vision analysis
After an upload, the Analyse uploaded photo button becomes available. The model reports visible defects (crack, corrosion, wear, seal leakage, overheating marks), severity and confidence, plus the evidence and tests still missing.
6. Score and case state
The findings automatically derive a case score (0–100), average confidence, missing-test count, and move the stage to inspection. Everything is persisted on the case.
7. Sealed technical report
Generate sealed PDF builds a Technical Assessment PDF from the current case snapshot, computes a deterministic SHA-256 seal, stores it on the case with a timestamp and downloads the file.
8. Analytics and toolkit
The console also carries the industrial toolkit and analytics boards (case funnel, turnaround, margin waterfall, defect pareto, estimate accuracy, win rate) with currency and language switches.
Operator tips
- Use a consistent case reference (for example date + customer) so the table stays searchable.
- Upload the clearest component photo first — analysis runs on the most recently uploaded image.
- Seal only after the analysis is stored, so the hash reflects the final data.
- Treat the missing-evidence list from the analysis as the to-do list before quoting.
- AI analysis is rate limited per minute and per day — a "too many requests" message is temporary.
FAQ
What exactly is SHA-256 sealed?
The serialized case snapshot at generation time — case details, evidence, AI findings and score — together with the generation timestamp.
Does the AI set a price or issue a valuation?
No. It reports visible defects, severity, confidence and missing evidence only; the commercial decision stays with the expert.
Who can see my uploaded evidence?
The bucket is private and cases are scoped to the user who created them; anonymous visitors are redirected to the login page.
Is the guide available in Hebrew, English and Arabic?
Yes — the language switch in the top bar changes HE/EN/AR and the text direction (RTL/LTR) across the platform pages.
