GARAFORCETechnician Dispatch Software with Live GPS Routing
Dispatch is a decision made under pressure: a call comes in, and someone has to pick the right technician right now. GARAFORCE makes that decision with data instead of memory — location, current load, skill and travel time in one view.
From call to technician in one screen
New calls land in a dispatch queue. The board shows every technician's position, current job and next free slot, and suggests the best match for the address.
- Live technician map with current status
- Suggested assignment by proximity, skill and availability
- One-tap dispatch with route and case details to the phone
- Priority and emergency job handling
The customer stops calling to ask
Once a technician is dispatched, the customer can be given a live ETA link. Most of the calls a dispatcher fields all day are simply 'when are they coming' — and this answers it automatically.
Every dispatch leaves a trail
Dispatch time, acceptance, arrival, on-site duration and completion are all recorded with GPS and timestamps, and sealed with a SHA-256 hash. If a service-level commitment is ever questioned, the record exists.
- Time-to-dispatch and time-to-arrival per job
- GPS-verified arrival
- Sealed, tamper-evident job log
- Exportable service-level reporting
Phone-and-whiteboard dispatch vs GARAFORCE
Dispatch decisions are made in seconds. The difference is whether they are made from a whiteboard and memory, or from live position and load.
| Phone + whiteboard | GARAFORCE | |
|---|---|---|
| Choosing a technician | Whoever the dispatcher thinks is nearby | Ranked by live position, current load and required skill |
| Sending the job | Read out over the phone, written down by hand | One tap — route, scope and case history on the device |
| Knowing it was accepted | Assumed | Acknowledgement timestamped on the board |
| Customer ETA calls | Dispatcher radios the technician, then calls back | Customer follows a live ETA link |
| Arrival time | Self-reported | GPS-verified and timestamped |
| Service-level reporting | Reconstructed from notes, if at all | Time-to-dispatch and time-to-arrival exported per job |
From incoming call to closed job
The dispatch path is four decisions, each one recorded.
- 1Call lands in the queue
Priority, address and fault description captured as the caller speaks.
- 2Board suggests a match
Technicians ranked by proximity, current load, skill and next free slot.
- 3Dispatch in one tap
Route and case details reach the technician's phone; the customer gets a live ETA link.
- 4Track to sign-off
Acceptance, arrival, on-site duration and completion are timestamped and GPS-verified, then sealed.
Example: an emergency call at 09:40
An illustrative dispatch sequence for a service business with six technicians in the field. It describes how the workflow behaves, not measured results from a specific customer.
- 09:40
Emergency call logged. The board ranks three technicians within fifteen minutes' drive.
- 09:41
Dispatched to the nearest one with the right certification; acceptance registers eleven seconds later.
- 09:43
The customer receives a live ETA link and stops calling.
- 10:02
GPS-verified arrival. The board updates automatically — nobody had to call and ask.
- 11:15
Job closed with photos and a signature; the record is sealed.
The dispatcher made one decision instead of six phone calls, and the whole sequence is reconstructable afterwards from timestamps rather than memory.
Frequently asked questions
What is technician dispatch software?
Technician dispatch software routes incoming service calls to the right field technician, sends the job details and route to their device, and tracks the job through completion.
Does it show technicians on a live map?
Yes. Technicians who accept a job share their location during the working day, so the dispatch board shows position and status in real time.
Can customers see the technician's ETA?
Yes. A live ETA link can be sent to the customer, which removes most inbound 'where is my technician' calls.
